On the show Pat and his wife Amber talk about the struggles they had in the years leading up to their 2018 elk season. Pat and Amber had backcountry hunted a few years before but were not successful. They both explain how each year they learned something new that lead to their 2018 Backcountry Hunting success. They also talk about Pat’s recent shoulder surgery how he plans to recover and hit the mountains again in 2019.
