On this episode of the Backcountry Rookies Podcast, Chad talks to Justin Bourn and Oliver Blackburn from Wild__Ops. Justin and Oliver embarked on their first backcountry elk hunting adventure. Justin and Oliver grew up in the south east, Georgia to be exact, hunting whitetail, turkey and various birds and waterfowl. The two always dreamed of heading out west for a big game hunt and jumped at the chance when Justin moved to Denver, Colorado for work. Planning for their western adventure started almost immediately, Justin was scouting out hunting areas in Colorado while Oliver was looking over maps and reading regulations in Georgia. On this show the two talk about the programs and applications they used to find their hunting area and they detail their adventure. The guys tell a great story and keep it entertaining.
The duo is starting up a new podcast to document and talk about their eastern and western hunting adventures.
